The human brain is extremely capable. Both learning and movement processes are controlled by the brain. In general, it is possible for everyone to improve already existing abilities, to develop their personality and thus increase their potential. This process does not end in any age group, but takes place throughout one's life. Furthermore, negative and inhibitory factors, which are particularly relevant in competitive sports and old age, are reduced. Physical exercise is the foundation of these described learning processes and the development of the brain.

Since physical training in sport has already been widely researched, new methods are becoming increasingly needed to improve performance. The psyche is becoming more and more the focus of research. In sport it is equally important to train the body and the mind in order to achieve top performance. Due to increasing tactical, coordinative and technical requirements, especially in sports such as football, a combined workout like the Brainkinetik® workout seems extremely reasonable.

Brainkinetik® can improve the soccer-specific concentration and learning ability. This is achieved through a variety of exercises that specifically focus on this aim. These include coordinative movement tasks which are not mastered immediately and therefore have a certain fun aspect. Only if new or unknown exercises are practiced new synapses are built in the brain. Therefore, the aim of this training form is directed at addressing as many brain areas as possible. This leads to an improvement in the quality and execution of simple and complex movement patterns, which are essential in competition. The training of both brain hemispheres leads to complex connections in the brain and the creation of so-called synapses, which can lead to an increase in performance not only in sports but in everyday life as well. Furthermore, the coordinative skills, the reaction time, stress processing and executive functions are increased.

The success of Brainkinetik® training has already been empirically investigated and proven. It has been shown that significant fatigue resistance was achieved on a psychological level. As recommendations for this training it is described that Brainkinteik® should be integrated into the training process on micro level as well as on macro level.

In the following an example of an exercise is described and illustrated.

The 2 players face each other approx. 8m apart, while one player has the football on his foot and the other the tennis ball in his hand. Both players have a beach tennis racket. The players pass both balls at the same time. The football is passed flat and the tennis ball through the tennis rackets. Both balls must always be played directly.
